How to Cook Garlic Bread on the Pellet Grill
Prepare to be blown away by the flavors of smoked garlic bread!
And it’s so simple! A few easy steps and you’re done.
First, start with a clean grill.
You don’t want bits of last week’s roast stuck to the bottom of your fresh bread.
Preheat the Traeger grill to 350°F. Let the smoke build and roll clean.

Making the Garlic Butter
Now the best tip for grilled garlic bread is to use melted butter instead of softened butter.
That saves the butter dripping off and causing any flare-ups on the grill.
You also don’t want to lose all that fabulous flavor!
Melt the butter and add the crushed garlic and garlic salt.
Brush this over the crispy side of the bread so it soaks in rather than sitting on top.
Top with some chopped parsley and grated cheese.

What Temperature Should I Smoke Garlic Bread?
You want to smoke the garlic bread at 350°F, so the bread crisps up.
It will also give you a great level of smokiness.

How Long Do I Need to Smoke the Garlic Bread For?
Leave the garlic bread in for 15 minutes, or until the butter bubbles and cheese melts.
Keep an eye on it though, you don’t want the bread to burn.

What Wood Chips Should I Use for Smoked Garlic Bread?
Keep it subtle for garlic bread.
You don’t want the smokiness to overpower the garlic flavors.
Mild wood pellet flavors like apple wood, pecan or alder wood will be perfect for garlic bread.
