Ingredients

  • Long baguette
  • Melted unsalted butter
  • Cloves of garlic minced
  • Garlic salt
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Italian parsley finely chopped

Instructions

Step 1 – Preheat the Grill

  • Preheat the grill to 375 °F degrees. If your grill can get hotter, you can use higher heat.
  • Close the lid and let the smoke build.

Step 2 – Prepare the Bread and Garlic Butter

  • Slice the baguette in half lengthwise.
  • Combine the melted butter, garlic, and salt in a bowl.
  • Brush the butter mixture on the halved baguettes.

Step 3 – Smoke the Bread

  • Grill your garlic bread face down on your grill for 15 seconds. Next, rotate 90° and grill for 15 more seconds.
  • Watch it carefully so it doesn’t burn!
  • Lower the heat on the grill. Flip garlic bread to toast the other side.
  • Remove from the grill and top with some chopped parsley and grated cheese. Heat it for a few more seconds so the cheese starts to melt.

Step 4 – Serve

  • Serve fresh off the grill.
