Equipment

  • Oven
  • Baking Tray

Ingredients

  • a bag of tortilla chips
  • 2 cups of pulled pork
  • Guacamole
  • 2 to 3 cups of shredded cheese or you could just grate your cheddar cheese
  • a can of black beans rinse and drain them
  • a quarter cup of pickled jalapeños
  • a cup of yellow peppers
  • half a cup of barbecue sauce
  • 2 green onions washed and chopped up
  • salsa
  • sour cream
  • fresh cilantro leaves to use as garnishing

Instructions

  • Go ahead and preheat your oven to 400 ℉. Then take a baking tray and line it with a baking sheet. You could also use a nonstick baking mat.
  • Open the packet of tortilla chips and pour out about half of the bag into the tray. Spread the chips out.
  • Split your ingredients in half. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese, slow-cooked pulled pork, and black beans onto the layer of tortilla chips. Then follow that up with the jalapeño slices and yellow peppers
  • Drizzle the barbecue sauce over the chips and toppings.
  • Repeats steps 2 to 4. So, add on another layer of chips and toppings.
  • Place the whole tray into the oven to bake for 6 minutes or until you see the cheese melt.
  • Take the nachos out of the oven and place them on the rest of the toppings and garnish. Then serve the dish while it’s still hot. You want to be able to do the satisfying cheese pull!
