Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3-4 pound pork loin
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Instructions

  • Remove the pork from the packaging, then pat dry. Using a knife, make slits all around the pork, making a diamond pattern.
  • Combine all the rub ingredients in a bowl, then season the pork loin, covering it on all sides. Use four tablespoons of store-bought rub if you don’t want to make your rub.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the pork on the grill and cook for approximately 60-90 minutes, turning it occasionally to ensure even cooking. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  • Remove the pork from the grill and tent it with foil. Allow it to rest for 10 minutes to retain its juices.
