3tbspBBQ rub
Instructions
Remove the chicken from the packaging. Remove and discard the neck and any organs inside the cavity. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
Smear softened butter all over the chicken, including under the breast skin. Sprinkle BBQ rub inside and out.
Preheat grill to 375-400°F with an indirect heat zone.
Place the chicken on the grill over indirect heat, breast side up. Close the lid and grill for 15-20 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Remove from the grill and let it rest for 15 minutes.
