This smoked chicken teriyaki gives you juicy tender chicken with that delicious teriyaki stickiness, just make sure you have some delicious sides on hand for when it comes time to serve.

4wholechicken breasts
.75cupTeriyaki sauce
1tbspSalt
1tbspPepper
Instructions
Season both sides of chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Smoke at 250F then remove once the chicken’s internal temperature hits 165F for basting (this took about 2-3 hrs, it depends on how large your chicken breasts are)
Remove from the smoker and place into an aluminum tray. Baste breasts with teriyaki sauce on both sides.
Return to the smoker and continue smoking until internal temp hits 185F.
Notes
Smoking the meat longer until it hits 185F or more would have helped break down the connective tissue a bit more resulting in juicier meat.
