Equipment

  • Smoker

Ingredients

  • 2 whole chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp Buffalo seasoning
  • 4 ounces light cream cheese
  • 1 cup greek yogurt
  • ½ cup hot sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon celery salt
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon coarse black pepper
  • ¼ spring onion

Instructions

  • Preheat your smoker to 200°F (93°C). Season the chicken breasts generously with salt, pepper, and one tablespoon of buffalo seasoning.
  • Place the chicken breasts directly on the smoker grate (or on a tray if your smoker requires it). Smoke the chicken for 1 hour. Allow the chicken to cool for 10 minutes, and then shred it.
  • Mix all the ingredients in a medium bowl. Set aside 1/2 cup cheddar cheese.
  • Pour the mixture from the mixing bowl into the baking dish. Top with the rest of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Place the baking dish on the grill grates. Smoke at 350°F for about 30 minutes until the dip is golden brown.
  • Using an Oven: 350°F. Once it is heated, place the dish in it and cook for 20 to 30 minutes until the top is golden brown and the dip is bubbling.
  • Let the dip cool. Garnish with sliced green onion. Serve with corn chips or celery sticks.
