- 1/4 cup bbq sauce
- 1 whole pizza base
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup pulled pork
- 1 whole small red onion sliced into thin strips
- 4 whole jalapenos deseeded and cut into thin strips
- 1 bunch Fresh cilantro roughly chopped for garnish
Preheat the oven to 500°F, if you plan on using a pizza stone, place it in the oven now to heat up.
If you haven’t pulled your pork yet this is the time to do it, I recommend shredding it with two forks or bear claws. Then place it in a bowl, add your favorite BBQ sauce.
Spread barbecue sauce over the pizza bases using the back of a spoon, making sure you don’t rip the dough. Then add a layer of shredded mozzarella making sure you get right to the edges.
Add pulled pork, jalapenos, and red onions. Top with the cheese.
Place pizza in the oven, if you using a pizza stone, place the pizza on the stone. Bake for 10-14 minutes, for the last 2-3 minutes, turn the broiler on and watch carefully. When it has reaches your preferred level of doneness remove from the oven
Slcie the piiza into wedges and serve immediately, we like to serve our piiza with a side of ranch dressing.
