Ingredients
  

  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry thawed
  • 1 lb ground pork sausage
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 whole small onion finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 whole egg beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Mix sausage, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, sage, pepper, and salt in a bowl.
  • Roll out puff pastry sheets on floured surface.
  • Cut each sheet into 3 equal strips lengthwise.
  • Divide sausage mixture into 6 portions and shape into logs along pastry strips.
  • Wrap pastry around sausage, sealing edges with beaten egg.
  • Cut each roll into 2-inch pieces and place seam-side down on baking sheets.
  • Brush tops with remaining egg wash.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
