You’ll come to find that this grill is an easily portable grill for outings or a great one to move around your backyard while entertaining guests.

About Weber Grills

The founder of the Weber company is none other than George Stephen.

He first invented what seems to be a revolutionary kettle grill back in 1952. He was driven by a passion that isn’t surprising to any modern man, grilling steaks. Back then he worked for Weber Brothers Metal Works in Chicago, Illinois and was inspired by the shape of a buoy.

He knew, even back then, that the key to success in grilling was a rounded cooking bowl that actually had a lid. So he took a buoy and cut it in half, after adding three legs to the bottom of it and a handle to the top, he was done. The rest is now simply history.

The company uses the same mindset and goals to accomplish everything that they do, the goal of a perfectly grilled steak is everywhere. It is in the company's heritage, legacy, and future.

Nowadays Weber is one of the most well known and trusted names in the BBQ/ grilling world, and for good reason. They make a genuinely good product at an affordable price.

My Rating

Overall this grill is a pretty great deal.

You’re getting your money's worth without emptying your wallet. You also get a great range of features such as the steel plated hinged cooking grate, which makes adding charcoal or refilling it super easy.

While it isn’t the most durable grill in the world it does hold up to everyday use and it’s pretty great in the elements as well.

It is also really easily portable, which makes this grill a great one for anyone that likes to take their grill camping, tailgating, or simply likes moving it around the yard when entertaining.

While there are some downsides such as the lid thermometer placement and the placement of the lid hook, I feel like they are outweighed by the assortment of features that come along with them.

This is one grill that is not only easy to clean, transport, and refill, but it’s also big enough to cook for everyone in the family.

All in all it’s a pretty good grill that will give you good results and last a long time.

You will more often than not find me tinkering around in my backyard. I will have one hand tightly gripped around a can of beer and the other hand tightly gripped around my spatula. Not so long ago (almost 8 years now) I got obsessed with Grilling, smoking and BBQ-ing. I can't get enough of it.. and neither can my family!
